Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Erie, PA is seeking a skilled CDL-A Driver to join our Transportation team. You will transport metal materials to and from client sites and AIM facilities, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Candidates must have a valid CDL-A with clean MVR and 18-speed manual experience, 2+ years, and experience with flatbed or roll-off trailers. Local routes with potential out-of-state work are available.

Qualifications

Valid CDL-A with a clean MVR and Medical.
Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission.
Minimum of 2 years as a CDL-A Driver.
Experience with flatbed, roll-off, lugger, or open top trailers.
Physically fit and able to tarp 40 and 53yd bins.
Familiarity with metal recycling processes is a plus.
Ability to load and unload as required.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class A commercial vehicle transporting metal materials to and from designated locations.
Safely loading/unloading and securing loads to prevent shifts during transit.
Local runs with potential out-of-state work depending on qualification.
Perform manual tarping when necessary.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain records.
