Job summary

Wooster Motor Ways, Inc. is hiring a dependable, safety-first Company Driver to haul freight regionally and locally. Earns $1,500–$1,800 per week, with a $1,350 weekly minimum, and frequent home time near Plymouth/Wabash.

You’ll operate Class A tractors, perform inspections, secure cargo, and manage logs and paperwork. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely deliveries with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of experience.
• HazMat endorsement preferred but not required.
• TWIC card preferred but not required.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight and general commodities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow hazmat or temperature-sensitive handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures, and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailers clean.
