Qualifications

• Must meet all DOT requirements, including an unexpired Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Flexibility with start times.
• Ability to read and interpret glass measurements, delivery schedules, and use a tape measure.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to safely unload product using crane systems and within the 75-lb lifting limit.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day activities include handling, inspecting, and unloading glass and/or metal products, verifying load securement, performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and completing multiple deliveries.
• Unloading may include loose glass, boxed glass, and racked glass, as well as operating crane systems mounted on trailers.
• Drivers ensure proper load securement, adding straps as needed and confirming safe configuration before departure.
• Regular and predictable attendance, safe task performance, and strict adherence to DOT regulations, OBE safety policies, and Critical Safety Rules.
• Customer interaction is frequent; drivers help resolve delivery issues and maintain strong customer relationships.
