Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. seeks an experienced Over the Road (OTR) Driver to operate commercial trucks with a CDL Class A. The role involves safe delivery of cargo, accurate log maintenance, and on-time client service across routes.

You will inspect vehicles, secure loads, and comply with DOT safety standards while supporting a collaborative team. Residing within a one-hour commute of Earth City, MO is required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Fluent reading/writing of English.
• Detail oriented with safety focus in fast-paced env.
• Able to work collaboratively in team settings.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance beneficial.
• Experience with routing and scheduling in logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial truck/tractor-trailer over 26,001 lbs. CDL A required.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, safety policies, and road safety laws.
• Maintain accurate logs via ELD and perform vehicle inspections.
• Prepare and verify load receipts and Bills of Lading.
• Maintain hours-of-service records and comply with rest periods.
• Ensure timely client deliveries and proactive communication with supervisor.
• Inspect and secure cargo using proper equipment; assist with loading when needed.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack when not driving, when authorized.
