Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving has immediate openings for CDL driving positions in California. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods, with opportunities to lead moving crews and interact with customers daily.

Compensation is $26-$27 per hour, based on experience, with potential incentives for performance. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, be able to comply with DOT regulations, and be willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDL driving experience preferred; ability to operate box trucks or tractor trailers as per CDL.
• Clean driving record and ability to follow DOT regulations.
• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate and interstate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipments on to and off the truck.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipments.
• Assist with loading trucks and containers for forward movement.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain required documentation and driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
