Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving in Sacramento is seeking CDL drivers to load, transport, and unload household goods. You will lead moving crews, interact with customers daily, and grow within the company while maintaining safety standards.

The role offers a pay range of $24-$26 per hour, a clean driving record, and a zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Benefits include health options, holidays, and opportunities for advancement and college scholarship programs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate and/or interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck or tractor trailer as applicable.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment on to and/or off truck.
• Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on truck and equipment.
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
