Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to transport trucks for our local fleet customers to and from the shop for service and repair. You will perform quality control test drives, document results, complete performance sheets, and arrange lots for better presentation.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL-A, has 2+ years driving experience, and complies with DOT safety standards. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of driving experience.
• Current CDL-A license required.
• DOT medical card and medical release.
• Willing to submit to DOT drug testing.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate local routes to transport trucks to and from shop for service and repair.
• Perform quality control test drives and document results.
• Complete road test performance sheets and arrange lots as needed for presentation.
• Fill service trucks with diesel and coordinate steam cleaning of trucks.
• Maintain daily activity logs and follow DOT safety standards.
