Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver in Bowling Green, KY to transport trucks for our local fleet, perform quality control test drives, and manage related paperwork. Responsibilities include documenting tests, arranging lots for presentation, fueling and steam-cleaning trucks, and running parts errands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two (2) plus years driving experience.
• Current Commercial Driver License A.
• Must have Department of Transportation medical card and medical release.
• Willing to submit and pass Department of Transportation’s random drug testing.
• Must have knowledge and willing to comply with traffic laws.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Driver to join our team, responsible for the efficient transportation of trucks for our local large fleet customers to and from the shop for service and repair. The primary duties include conducting quality control test drives and complaint verification test drives, ensuring adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will document test results, complete road test performance sheets, and arrange lots as needed for enhanced truck presentation. In addition to filling service trucks with diesel and coordinating the steam cleaning of trucks, the Driver will perform various errands, such as picking up parts from other locations. A meticulous record of daily activities will be maintained on a daily log, and the Driver will cover for the lot porter as required. The Driver will also follow the Department of Transportation's safety standards, performing additional job-related duties as needed.
