Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a Driver Leader to mentor and develop new drivers, sharing expertise to build safe, successful careers on the road. As a Driver Leader, you will guide and coach, helping new drivers gain confidence behind the wheel and contribute to Werner's growth.

This role emphasizes leadership, knowledge transfer, and a commitment to safety, with opportunities across OTR and dedicated routes, and a competitive compensation package including bonuses and incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Have at least 1 year of safe driving experience.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Meet all DOT qualifications.
• Pass a DOT physical, DOT drug screen, and company hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to new drivers as a Coach or Mentor.
• Lead by example to develop professional drivers and support Werner's future.
• Work with recruiters and leadership to promote safe, efficient driving practices.
