Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for the Fluid Solutions Division. You’ll deliver equipment to customers, be the company ambassador, and return home each night in Beaumont, TX.

Expect interaction with customers, strict safety adherence, and opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, following DOT regulations, maintaining logs, and offering additional equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pickup equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers with CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
