Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment safely and on time. You’ll interact with customers daily, act as a company ambassador, and be home each night due to our local focus.

You will drop off and pick up gear, operate heavy equipment per regulations, maintain logs, and uphold safety standards while providing exceptional service and support to customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain drivers logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
