Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers and support trench safety needs. You will be home each night and act as a company ambassador with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include operating trucks and cranes when qualified, maintaining logs, and upholding safety standards. Minimum 2 years of DOT driving experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Demonstrated superior customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment/vehicles per DOT CDL-A.
• Maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
