Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment and support trench safety needs for customers. You will be home every night, reflecting our commitment to work-life balance. Safety and customer service are emphasized across all tasks.

The role requires operating trucks and cranes, maintaining logs, and staying compliant with regulations while providing exceptional service to clients and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per DOT CDL-A.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Must operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specs.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Other duties as needed.
