Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Tampa, FL to deliver equipment with safety, timeliness, and courtesy. You will be home nightly and be part of a team that supports growth and reliable service.

Responsibilities include drop-offs/pickups, operating equipment per CDL, maintaining logs, pre-trip inspections, and meeting DOT regulations. A customer-focused mindset and safety-first approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers under CDL-A
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
• Other duties assigned as needed
