Job summary

United Rentals in Renton, WA, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment safely and on time. You will be a company ambassador, interacting with customers and ensuring excellent service, with the benefit of being home most nights.

Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up gear, logging hours, inspecting vehicles, and recommending additional equipment. Eligibility requires CDL-A, clean record, high school diploma, and 2 years DOT driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain driver's logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specs.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
