Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Garner, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time while representing the company with professionalism.

You’ll be home every night and have opportunities to advance with the world’s largest equipment rental provider. Responsibilities include drop-offs and pickups, operating construction equipment in DOT-compliant fashion, maintaining driver logs and completing pre-trip inspections, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs and adhere to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment in DOT-compliant manner.
• Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment or supplies to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
