Job summary

United Rentals in Carlsbad, NM is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely, on time, and with courteous service. You’ll be the company ambassador, home every night, and part of a team that supports growth and client satisfaction.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, a clean driving record, and at least 2 years of DOT-regulated driving experience. You'll perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and adhere to safety regulations while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) in DOT compliance.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
