Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to support Trench Safety needs by delivering equipment safely and on time. You will be a company ambassador, providing excellent customer service and returning home each night.

Responsibilities include dropping off/picking up gear, operating trucks and cranes per specs, maintaining logs, and upholding safety standards in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Physical work and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record and DOT compliance.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and handle equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment including semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies to customers.
• Operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specs.
• Follow safety requirements and Federal Motor Carrier Regulations.
• Other duties as needed.
