Job summary

United Rentals in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment safely and on time while providing outstanding customer service. You’ll be home every night and act as a company ambassador.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating trucks and trailers per DOT rules, maintaining logs and pre-trip inspections, and supporting safety practices. This is a safety-sensitive role with a strong emphasis on teamwork and courteous service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSR.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties as assigned.
