Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver. You will deliver equipment safely, interact with customers, and help meet trench safety needs. You’ll be home each night and represent United Rentals as a company ambassador.

Responsibilities include equipment drop-off/pick-up, logs, pre-trip inspections, and recommending additional gear to customers. Prioritize safety and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) per DOT CDL-A.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specs.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSR.
• Other duties as needed.
