Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely, on time and with courteous service. As a local driver, you’ll be home every night and represent the company in daily interactions.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, verifying delivery details, logging hours, and adhering to safety rules. Opportunities for career growth are available within the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) in line with CDL-A rules.
• Adhere to safety requirements and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
