Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers while upholding safety and quality service. You will be home every night and act as a company ambassador through excellent customer interactions.

Responsibilities include drop-off/pick-up, operating trucks and low-boys, maintaining logs, and inspections. Requires 2+ years of DOT driving and a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers (low-boys) within DOT rules.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies that customers may need.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
