Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers with safety, timeliness, and courtesy. You’ll be home nightly and represent the company as an ambassador while providing excellent service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating equipment, maintaining logs, and advising customers on equipment needs. Benefits and career growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (CDL-A).
• Adhere to all safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
