VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is a leader in sustainability services with multiple divisions and locations across North America. The CDL Class A Driver will haul hazardous and non-hazardous waste and must be experienced on all equipment, including vac tankers and walking floor trailers, to support operations during peak times.

Responsibilities include safe operation, compliance with laws, and client-facing excellence at delivery.

Competenze

• CDL Driver must have good driving history and pass background check
• Must have valid Class A CDL with manual transmission experience
• Must be willing to obtain TWIC Card
• CDL Driver must pass DOT drug screen, physical, and road test
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred

Mansioni

• Loading, unloading, and safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials and operation of all fleet and facility equipment
• Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards
• Interfacing and creating a Wow! Experience for our clients at the point of delivery
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/ or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after pickups
• Willing to do overnight runs
• Ability to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks)
• Ability to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage
