Job summary

Arizona Food Bank Network (AzFBN) seeks a CDL Class A truck driver to support our produce rescue operations in Rio Rico, AZ. This role transports donated produce to food bank members, works with the sourcing team, and may perform out-of-state pickups.

You’ll ensure food safety and maintain records, supporting a hunger-free Arizona. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, filing reports, and coordinating with the dispatcher for timely pickups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current valid Arizona CDL Class A license with safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain insurance under AzFBN plan.
• Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Food handling certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A CDL truck daily to pick up and deliver donated produce and other items to AzFBN food bank members.
• Transport donations from produce houses, growers, and partners statewide.
• Occasional out-of-state pickups and deliveries, including overnight trips.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
• Maintain records of all donated foods and issue donor receipts.
• Complete mileage logs and other required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Operate trucks and trailers per DOT regulations and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Coordinate maintenance with Nogales operations team.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in compliance with health codes.
