Job summary

Blue Streak LLC 1 is seeking a skilled CDL Driver Class A to support underground utility operations. You will safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites while maintaining logs and complying with DOT regulations.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year of underground utility experience, a clean driving record, a current DOT medical card, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 year of underground utility experience required.
• Clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Experience with automotive repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles including flatbeds, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers.
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other appropriate equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate logs for mileage, deliveries, hours of service, fuel usage, and inspections.
• Assist underground utility crews with on-site material handling when needed.
