Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Salem, UT is seeking an Entry-Level Operations Driver to transport equipment and materials to various job sites. You will load, secure, and deliver cargo while adhering to DOT rules and safety practices, including hours-of-service logging and regular safety training.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of related experience, a CDL Class A license with a clean record, and the ability to operate a manual transmission.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months previous experience or training.
• CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety systems for equipment.
• Ability to perform math for reporting work completed.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports equipment / material to various destinations.
• Load, unload and secure all cargo.
• Ensure loads are properly secured per DOT and company regulations.
• Obtain necessary permits before transporting when required.
• Follow safety rules and DOT regulations; maintain hours of service log.
• Attend safety meetings and training.
• Use prescribed safety equipment as required.
• Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor or safety personnel.
• Report injuries, accidents and/or incidents immediately.
