Job summary

Miller Environmental Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a CDL Class A Driver / Field Laborer to safely operate CDL Class A trucks and perform hands-on field labor. You will support environmental remediation, waste transport, spill response, and industrial cleaning while meeting DOT and safety requirements.

Role involves emergency response readiness, physical work outdoors, and potential overtime with advancement opportunities within MEG.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with valid CDL Class A and clean driving record.
• Able to lift 40–50 lbs and perform heavy physical labor.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and be on‑call.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A vehicles safely and in DOT compliance.
• Drive tractor trailers, tankers, vacuum trucks and other CDL units.
• Transport materials between sites, secure loads and document DOT logs.
• Assist in environmental cleanup, remediation and spill response.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
