Job summary

UNFI is seeking a CDL Driver in Dallas, Texas to perform pre- and post-trip inspections, safely deliver and unload products, review paperwork for accuracy, and manage timecards along a dedicated driving route. You will start and end each day at the UNFI Manchester location and support multiple customer deliveries.

Job Overview

The essential functions and basic duties of the CDL Driver are to perform pre and post trip inspection of their vehicle utilizing knowledge of safe and effective loading and handling procedures. As a Delivery Driver, you are also responsible for delivering and unloading products, reviewing paperwork for completeness and accuracy, checking orders for the correct number of boxes, correcting addresses and support documentation, completing timecards, entering trip data into the on-board computer, and completing paper logs if necessary. The position is located in Dallas, Texas.

Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

• This position requires the associate to start and end the day at the UNFI Manchester location and deliver to multiple customers along your dedicated driving route.
