Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a full-time Driver for the Fortify Building Solutions unit in La Feria, TX. Base pay starts at $23.50 per hour, with day shifts and interstate delivery duties.

The role focuses on safe driving, on-time delivery, and excellent customer service to construction job sites and distribution centers. We value a Class A CDL, 2 years of tractor-trailer experience (winter driving preferred), and the ability to work across states.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving.
• Must be able to drive interstate as business necessitates.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must be insurable according to company insurance requirements.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Responsabilidades

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers and job sites using a tractor-trailer.
• Perform loading/unloading on trailer by hand, forklift or overhead crane.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections and address deficiencies.
• Operate onboard recording system and comply with DOT regulations and laws.
• Deliver products during the day using piggy-back trailer mounted forklift at sites.
• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service.
• Interact with customers and verify receipt with signatures.
• Assist in inventory counts and housekeeping.
