Cornerstone Building Brands sits Mueller Fortify Building Solutions in Texas, seeking a Full-time Driver to transport building materials via tractor-trailer. You will deliver to customers and job sites and maintain a professional customer service approach.

Applicants must be 21+, have a High School diploma or GED, hold a Class A CDL, and possess 2 years of flatbed driving experience including winter driving. Interstate travel and DOT-mandated screenings are required.

Formación

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• 2 years of previous tractor‑trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable).
• Must be able to drive interstate as business necessitates.
• Must be able to pass DOT pre‑employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must be insurable according to company insurance requirements.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Responsabilidades

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers and job sites using a tractor-trailer.
• Perform material handling including loading/unloading by hand, forklift or overhead crane.
• Complete daily pre/post trip inspections and address deficiencies.
• Operate onboard recording system and follow DOT and company policies and traffic laws.
• Deliver products during the day using piggy-back trailer mounted forklift at sites.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times.
• Stand, lift and move heavy products (60+ pounds) regularly.
• Inspect and clean vehicle to ensure safe operation and appearance.
• Assist in inventory management including cycle counts.
