Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring CDL A Drivers in Columbus, MN with early morning dispatch five days per week. Minimum $320/day plus component pay, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Average annual earnings quoted at $90,000 per year, with Day 1 benefits and a strong focus on safety and DOT compliance.

Role involves delivering and unloading food products, maintaining DOT paperwork, and providing courteous service to customers. Must be 21+, have valid CDL A, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck and delivers to customers on schedule.
• Unloads products and records deliveries with customer signatures.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs as required.
