Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products to customers, with emphasis on safety, timeliness, and professional interaction. You will handle pre-trip inspections, log hours, and cooperate with customers and vendors in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires 21+ years of age, valid CDL-A, and a clean MVR, with on-time delivery as a core priority. A comprehensive benefits package is included on day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL-A with at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and ability to pass background checks.
• Post-offer drug test and DOT Health Card required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer and report issues.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Unload/load freight and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain daily logs and hours of service per regulations.
• Deliver food and related products to customers safely and on time.
