Job summary

Sysco is seeking professional delivery drivers to transport products from the warehouse to customers, safely and efficiently. You will drive tractor-trailers, unload, document deliveries, and ensure proper handling of food items in all weather and traffic conditions.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of tractor trailer experience preferred. The role includes benefits and potential for incentives, with flexible schedules and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or in addition to high school diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL required; must be insurable to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart, following safety and company guidelines.
• Complete all required paperwork (logs, inspections, maintenance reports) accurately and timely.
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, warehouse and yard.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
