Sysco is seeking a delivery driver to safely and efficiently transport product from the warehouse to customers, delivering and unloading according to invoices and standards. Routes typically involve 2–4 stops per week, with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in paperwork, and strong customer communication. Responsibilities include operating equipment, maintaining food safety, and timely delivery while following DOT regulations.

Competenze

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

Mansioni

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures product is delivered on a timely basis, according to assigned route.
• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Picks up, loads and unloads damaged goods and customer returns, and transports products back to SYGMA warehouse.
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines and submits on a timely basis.
• Maintains and follows food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer and warehouse.
