Job summary

McLane is seeking CDL-A drivers to move, supply, and provide for America’s favorite brands. Local and regional routes with early evening dispatch and overnight deliveries keep you home more often, while you earn industry‑leading pay.

You’ll maintain DOT logs, inspect tractors, and load/unload as needed, with day‑1 benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company‑paid life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and 401(k) with profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for job tasks and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination with knowledge of regulations and safe maneuvering.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document deliveries.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: Drivers make $88,000 to $97,000.
• Top Drivers earn $100,000 +.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane‘s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
