Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods is seeking a CDL-A Company Driver to deliver no-touch, temperature-controlled freight across the Northeast with occasional Midwest and Southeast trips. Safe driving and DOT compliance are essential, with home time balanced against regional routes.

You will operate a tractor-trailer, perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch to keep deliveries on schedule. We offer competitive weekly pay, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A Driver’s License, maintained in good standing in your state of residence.
• 2 years of experience operating a combination unit (tractor-trailer)
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and DOT regulations
• Ability to pass all pre-employment testing, including DOT physical and drug screen
• No more than a combination of 3 minor moving violations or accidents
• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to be away from home for occasional 3–4 day trips as needed
• Military experience welcomed and encouraged to apply

What’s the Role

The CDL-A Company Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer combination unit to deliver no-touch, temperature-controlled (reefer) freight across our regional network. This role matters because it keeps fresh food moving reliably from our facilities to customers across the Northeast and, occasionally, the Midwest and Southeast. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, dependable professional who takes pride in maintaining a clean driving record, follows DOT regulations closely, and is comfortable balancing daily or every-other-day home time with occasional longer regional trips.
