Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods, headquartered in Vineland, NJ, is seeking a responsible Driver Class A to deliver products to customer locations across our network. You will maintain proper licensing, comply with DOT regulations, and perform required vehicle inspections in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Requirements include a CA CDL Class A with no restrictions, current DOT medical certification, a high school diploma, and at least three years of commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Three years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow simple instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• CA CDL-Class A certification with no restrictions.

• Less than 2 points on driving record.

What's the Role

The Driver Class A is responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles and the delivery of products to the customer locations. This includes maintaining the proper licensing to operate the required vehicles. Persons in this job must maintain a driving record in good standing and comply with all regulatory requirements for a commercial driver.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job it is primarily sedentary while driving, but can require frequent standing, walking, lifting, twisting when working in a chilled factory or warehouse environment. Required to sit for periodic and prolonged periods while operating a truck. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, lift or feel. May be exposed periodically to chilled or warm temperatures within the operations or exposed to the elements when in an open dock environment.
