Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods is seeking a CDL-A Company Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer across our regional Northeast network, with occasional Midwest and Southeast runs. You will haul no-touch, temperature-controlled reefer freight and maintain a clean driving record in alignment with DOT regulations.

The role emphasizes reliable on-time delivery, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurate logs, and proactive communication with dispatch.

Qualifications

CDL-A license in good standing.
2 years of tractor-trailer experience.
Working knowledge of Federal, State, and DOT regulations.
Ability to pass all pre-employment testing, including DOT physical and drug screen.
No more than 3 minor moving violations or accidents.
Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to be away from home for 3–4 day trips.
Military experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor-trailer safely across regional routes, primarily in the Northeast with occasional runs to the Midwest and Southeast.
Deliver no-touch, temperature-controlled (reefer) freight on schedule and in compliance with company standards.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and road-ready.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with Federal, State, and DOT regulations.
Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or equipment issues.
Uphold a clean driving record by adhering to safe driving practices at all times.
