Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Waste Transport Driver to travel on an assigned route, packing, transporting and disposing of waste materials per our environmental policies. The role involves 5 overnights per week with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem, and requires interaction with customers and staff on site.

The successful candidate must hold a valid CDL Class A, be at least 21, and be prepared to pass a DOT physical, drug test and background check. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

• Must be at least 21 years old by law.

Responsibilities

• Pack, transport and properly dispose of waste material following policy.

• Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.
• Share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families.
• This position requires 5overnights per week (with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem).

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Requirements:

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. If you do not have the endorsements, once you are hired, you will be required to obtain them at company expense as a condition of employment.
• TWIC Card and any experience driving box trucks is also preferred. As you will interact with customers and internal staff. Fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.

• Pay starting at $33.00 hourly.
