Job summary

Veolia in North America is hiring an Environmental Driver Specialist CDLA in Melbourne, FL to join our waste transportation team. This full-time role involves packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with environmental policies, with up to 4 overnights per week and paid hotel expenses.

You must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21, and pass a DOT physical and background checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

Join our team and be part of something bigger! We're looking for experienced CDL A Drivers who share our commitment to the environment, our customers, regulators, and our families. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires up to 4 overnights per week (with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem).

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred qualifications are a TWIC Card, Tanker endorsement and Hazmat endorsement. As you will interact with customers and internal staff, fluency in English (verbal and written) will be important.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.
