Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking a motivated CDL A Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality, safety, and productivity through a hands‑on approach.

Triple Cities Metal Finishing provides a wide variety of surface finishing options to a multitude of industries including aerospace, agricultural, automotive, computer, electronics, household, industrial, medical, military, construction, and office parts. We are ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D & NADCAP Certified! Since 1945, TCMF has made innovative, as well as necessary changes in the way we conduct everyday business. From advanced surface preparation to highly technical finishing processes, we can handle the smallest pieces to large parts over 30 feet long. Our three shifts of skilled professionals in our 125,000 square foot facility have made us the vendor of choice for metal finishing for Northeastern United States. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time!

Position Overview

• Transporting Goods: Safely transporting goods or passengers to their destinations.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure and protected. Operate forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Compliance: Logging miles, driving hours, and other activities to comply with federal and state laws.
• Safety Inspections: Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Route and Stops Management: Navigating routes using GPS, Geotab and other technology provided by the company.
• Paperwork: Completing necessary paperwork related to deliveries or driving.
• Communication: Report any issues or incidents immediately to dispatch. Develop strong relationships that create trust with our customers.
• Safety and Compliance
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety glasses) as required on all customer sites.
  • Work Area Safety: Maintain a safe work environment.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• License: Valid Class A Commercial License (CDL -A)
• Testing: Pre-employment drug screen & DOT physical
• Experience
  • Previous experience as a CDL A Truck Driver.
• Skills & Competencies
  • Attention to Detail: Must be able to multitask while maintaining detail and accuracy.

  • Technical Skills: Basic math and computer skills, ability to use specialized testing tools and machinery.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Standing: The ability to stand for extended periods of time is crucial.
    • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Mobility: The role requires the ability to bend, stoop, push, pull and reach.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all products and parts meet stringent quality standards.

Shift Hours

• Home Daily! Guaranteed 40-50 hours per week!

Total Compensation Package
