Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a CDL-A Driver for full-time employment in Madison County, IL. The role involves loading, securing, unloading, and delivering materials, maintaining DOT logs, and performing inspections.

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, and unloads materials and equipment for scheduled deliveries
• Keeps accurate records of deliveries and pickups; obtain customer signatures for invoicing
• Maintains DOT driver’s logs per state and federal regulations
• Performs truck inspections using DVIR and reports needed maintenance
• Assists in installing tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment
• Performs minor emergency roadside repairs
• Promotes cooperation and good communication

Job Summary: Do you like being behind the wheel? We are looking for a CDL-A Driver to join a growing team. Responsibilities include:

• Loads, secures, and unloads materials and equipment with appropriate tools, machinery, and other equipment for scheduled delivery.
• Keeps accurate written records of all deliveries and pick-ups, and obtains customer signatures needed for invoicing as required by Management.
• Maintains DOT driver’s logs according to State and Federal regulations.
• Using the DVIR, driver performs required truck inspections and reports any needed maintenance and or repairs to appropriate personnel.
• Assists in installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment.
• Performs minor emergency roadside repairs.
• Promotes cooperation and good communication.

Location: Madison County, IL
Position type: Full Time, Evaluation/Direct Hire
Pay: $25/hr, BOE
