Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Truck Driver for our Dallas, TX operations. You will operate a range of trucks including tankers, roll-offs, flatbeds and tractor-trailers, conducting safety inspections and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include route planning, log keeping, dispatch coordination and strict compliance with OSHA/DOT rules and all transportation regulations. Requires 21+ and 2+ years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background checks.
• Ability to maintain accurate daily delivery records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle per OSHA and DOT requirements and laws.
• Drive various trucks including tanker, roll-off, flatbed and tractor-trailer.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries while following traffic laws.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance and fuel.
• Coordinate with dispatch on schedules and issues on the road.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws
• Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be 21 years of age
• At least three (2) years of experience, proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's license
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review
• Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records
• Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers
