Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a safe and reliable driver to operate a commercial vehicle and provide prompt waste collection services in the Dallas, TX area. The role requires DOT-regulated checks, courteous interaction with customers, and accurate reporting.

You will drive on routes through roads, neighborhoods and alleys, maintaining safety and efficiency. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and a Class B CDL, with a preference for garbage/recycling experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a Class B CDL license.
• Must meet all Department of Transportation regulations.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre/post-operation checks of a commercial vehicle per FCC regulations.
• Safely operates vehicles on assigned routes including streets, neighborhoods, and alleys.
• Manages controls safely and follows regulatory procedures.
• Engages courteously with coworkers, dispatchers and customers.
• Monitors vehicle status to minimize downtime and keep it operational.
• Completes paperwork and reports accurately.
• Maintains productivity standards to serve clients promptly and effectively.
• Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Position Summary:The driver position is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and providing prompt and complete collection services.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components are in correct operating condition.Ensure commercial vehicles are safely operated on allocated routes that encompass roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.Ability to manually and/or automate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with the FCC's safety regulations and procedures.Engage courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure that all services are performed in a timely and professional way.Continuously monitors the vehicle's status to ensure it remains operationally ready in order to reduce downtime.Completes necessary paperwork and other reports accurately.Maintains departmental productivity standards to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely and effective way.Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.Experience and Competencies:Garbage/Recycling experience preferredClass B commercial driver’s licenseAbility to lift or carry heavy objects as necessaryMust meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulationsClearinghouse profile requiredFCC is a drug-free workplace.
