Job Summary

Sysco has immediate openings for CDL A Delivery Truck Driver Trainees without a CDL to train to become dependable Delivery Partners. You will train for your Class-A CDL, including how to safely operate a tractor-trailer, unload/deliver products to an assigned route, and build customer relationships with a positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload products from trailers using hand or equipment, and place in designated areas.
• Transport products safely in all weather conditions.
• Perform loading and unloading activities, including verifying deliveries and obtaining signatures.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies during pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Manage damaged goods, returns, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Deliver products within scheduled routes and inform management of any deviations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must obtain a valid CDL Permit and DOT medical certification prior to employment.
• Pass pre-employment testing, including drug screening and background check.
• Obtain CDL within 90 days of start date to remain employed.
• One year of distribution, warehouse, or military experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Licenses/Certifications

Clean driving record with no recent DUIs.
