McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver (JR109982) to move, supply, and deliver for America’s favorite brands. We offer industry-leading pay, strong client relationships, and a safety-driven culture that helps drivers build long-lasting careers.

Responsibilities include verifying bills, inspecting the tractor-trailer, maintaining logs per DOT, delivering to customer premises, and performing additional duties as needed to ensure timely, safe deliveries.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks and safety protocols.

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and maneuvering the vehicle.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)

• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
