Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers for the Kentucky hub in Hebron. This full-time role offers a pay range of $80,000–$110,000 with sign-on up to $10,000, plus day-1 benefits and a 4-day work schedule on the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, securing cargo, delivering to customers, maintaining logs per DOT, and performing other duties as needed. Join a team focused on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips and submit inspection reports.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destinations following DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain driver logs per regulations, documenting deliveries and temperatures.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.

What You’ll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
