Job summary

McLane is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move goods for America's favorite brands. You’ll inspect, drive, and deliver to customer premises while following DOT regulations, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety.

We offer competitive pay up to $90,000 annually, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers, Day 1 benefits, and 401(k) with profit sharing. Join our team and help keep America moving safely.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with driving experience.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• English literacy to understand instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safely maneuver on roads and customer premises.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document delivery details.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
