Performance Foodservice is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to support its food distribution operations. You will drive tractor or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery in a safe, professional manner.

The role emphasizes customer relations and adherence to DOT requirements. Applicants must hold a valid CDL A, have at least 12 months of commercial driving experience, and meet setup safety checks and background requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL A license required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsabilités

• Communicates with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally and timely.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor, trailer, and equipment for safety and compliance.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers according to schedule.
• Ensure proper documentation, receipts, and signatures for deliveries.
• Load and unload, secure freight, and manage returns as required.
• Maintain daily logs of hours of service per DOT rules.
• Keep loading docks and trailers clean and organized.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
